George W. Ganim, Sr.

George Sr.'s extensive law practice and experience includes criminal and civil litigation in both the Connecticut courts and the United States' District Courts for Connecticut, as well as the Connecticut Appellate and Supreme Courts. He also handled numerous trials, hearings, and appeals. Some of which include zoning, workers compensation, family law, and juvenile matters. He is a former Deputy City Attorney for the City of Bridgeport and represented the city in various municipal legal issues. He is a former Republican Town Chairman for the City of Bridgeport.

George W. Ganim, Sr. is the founder and senior partner of the firm. He received his law degree from the University of Boston in 1951 where he was Editor of the University’s Law Review. Upon graduation he was admitted to practice law in the state of Massachusetts and the state of Connecticut. He is admitted to practice in all Connecticut courts, including the Appellate and Supreme Courts. He is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court, the United States Second Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States Supreme Court, the Interstate Commerce Commission, and the Board of Immigration and Naturalization Appeals.

George W. Ganim, Jr. graduated from the University of Bridgeport School of Law and was admitted to the Connecticut Bar in 1985. George is admitted to practice in all Connecticut courts including the Appellate and Supreme Courts. He is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court, the United States Second Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.

George has extensive trial experience in all aspects of personal injury litigation. He has extensive experience in the handling of criminal defense charges, as well as motor vehicle violations. He also represents clients before the Commission of Motor Vehicles for driving under the influence. George has a great deal of experience representing businesses before the Liquor Control Commission regarding state liquor laws. In addition to all this, he posseses broad experience in all types of civil litigation, including family matters, contract disputes, and eviction matters.

George also handles cases before the Workers’ Compensation Commission, Workers Compensation Review Board, the United States Immigration Court, as well as numerous State and Federal administrative agencies. George is currently a member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association and the Connecticut Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.

Paul J. Ganim

Paul J. Ganim received his undergraduate degree from Fairfield University in 1987. He attended the University of Bridgeport School of Law and was admitted to the Connecticut Bar in 1992. He is admitted to practice before all courts in the State of Connecticut, including the Supreme and Appellate Courts, as well as before the United States District Court and the United States Supreme Court.

Paul's legal experience includes civil and criminal matters, personal injury litigation, workers’ compensation, Social Security disability appeals, criminal defense, DWI/DUI defense, Department of Motor Vehicle administrative hearings, and unemployment compensation hearings and appeals. Paul is experienced in family law, including divorce, separation, child custody, and child support matters.
Paul Ganim was elected to the office of Judge of Probate for the State of Connecticut, District of Bridgeport in 1998. The position of Probate Judge is a part-time position, which allows him to still actively practice with the firm.

Raymond W. Ganim

Raymond W. Ganim received his undergraduate degree from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut. He graduated from the University of Bridgeport School of Law and was admitted to the Connecticut Bar in 1988. Raymond is also admitted to practice before courts in the District of Columbia and is a member of the District of Columbia Bar. He is admitted to practice in all Connecticut State courts, including the Appellate and Supreme Courts, as well as in the United States District Court for Connecticut.

Raymond has broad experience in a variety of legal matters, including personal injury litigation, criminal defense, family law, and workers’ compensation claims. He handles a large volume of lease and contract negotiations. Raymond has extensive experience in commercial and residential real estate and business transactions. His commercial real estate experience includes representation on environmental issues and reviewing of environmental site assessment reports and compliance with the Connecticut Transfer Act requirements.

He is experienced in handling zoning issues as well as being experienced in Wills and estates. Raymond is currently serving in his second term as a member of the Town of Easton's CT Zoning Board of Appeals.

Thomas G. Ganim

Thomas G. Ganim received his undergraduate degree from Fairfield University in 1989. Tom attended the University of Bridgeport School of Law and was admitted to the Connecticut Bar in 1992. He is admitted to practice in the State of Connecticut before the Connecticut Superior, Appellate and Supreme Courts, as well as the United States District Court for Connecticut. In 2002, Tom was appointed by the Chief Justice of the Connecticut Supreme Court as a Fact Finder/Arbitrator for the Courts of the State of Connecticut.

Tom is a current or past member of the American Bar Association, Connecticut Bar Association, Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and the Greater Bridgeport Bar Association.

Tom handles a variety of legal cases, including personal injury litigation and arbitration, criminal defense, DWI/DUI defense, real estate law, contract negotiations, real estate closings and foreclosure work. Additionally, Tom handles a large volume of matrimonial law cases, including divorce and separation, child custody, and support cases. Tom also practices probate law involving Wills and estates and handles a variety of administrative hearings and appeals in various state agencies. He has also been appointed by and appeared before the Probate Court to serve as a conservator of estates for persons who are unable to handle their own affairs. Tom is a former Candidate for the Connecticut State Senate during the years 1996 and 1998.

Mary G. Kolesnik

Mary G. Kolesnik is a graduate of Quinnipiac University School of Law. She was admitted to the Connecticut Bar in 2002. Mary is admitted to practice in all Connecticut courts, including the Appellate and Supreme Courts. She is experienced in property law, including boundary disputes and adverse possession cases. Mary also handles personal injury cases. She has been part of cases involving lead poisoning in children, automobile accidents, and workers’ compensation cases. Mary is also experienced in residential real estate closings and mortgage foreclosures as well. She is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and the American Bar Association and has been the author of several Appellate Court briefs.
